Resources at FBCA

BlogFBCAStuffMain

As we wrap up this Winter Challenge, there are several resources our church offers that may be helpful as you consider how to apply all that we’ve studied. Based on the previous weeks’ topics, could God be inviting you to participate in any of these ministries in order to be a more vibrant, healthier person?

  • Grief Share, Divorce Care, and Cancer Support

These are weeks-long support groups that run throughout the semester.  They involve solid content to help make sense of what is going on in your life, but also offer a community of Christian support as you walk through a difficult time. Find out more at www.fbca.org/care.

  • The Center for Integrative Counseling and Psychology

Our church partners with The Center to provide high-quality, licensed counseling done by Christians.  Five capable counselors office at our church during the week, and cover almost all age ranges and life situations. You can see a list of counselors and learn more at www.fbca.org/counseling.

  • Bible Study Group

If you want to grow in community and perhaps find a mentoring or discipling relationship, joining a Bible Study group is still one of the best ways to grow deeper at FBCA.  Most meet on Sunday morning at 9:45. You can find a list of options at www.fbca.org and clicking on “Ministries.” We also have Men’s and Women’s groups that offer a variety of programs.

Considering all you’ve learned these past few weeks, what is one concrete decision you can make to be an emotionally healthy person this year? Let’s commit to be a church that seeks emotional health, so that we may be our best selves in Christ, and be available and ready to serve His Kingdom to the fullest!
