YOU'RE INVITED TO
We hope you’ll join us at First Baptist this Easter. Here is a look at what you will experience.
Welcome
When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by friendly faces ready to welcome you to First Baptist Church. We’ll have free coffee, water, and photo opportunities in the atrium for you to enjoy. In our Preschool area, your kids will play, sing, and dance as they learn about Jesus.
Worship
We believe that worship invites the presence of God, and we can’t wait to encounter Him as we worship together at the beginning and end of every gathering.
Teaching
Every week, we gather around the word of God and hear an encouraging message from a member of our teaching team who is passionate about teaching the Bible.
Response
At the end of our gatherings, we create space to respond to what we've heard by worshipping through song, praying for one another, taking believer’s communion, and bringing our tithes and offerings

Visitor Parking
We've got plenty of parking for everyone. For our guests, we recommend parking in the Charles R. Wade Building parking lot for easiest access to the church. We also have parking available adjacent to our Preschool & Children's building, and in the parking garage we share with UTA.

Good Friday is an opportunity to reflect and remember.
The crucifixion was a dark moment for Jesus' disciples. But 2,000 years later, we commemorate Jesus' death on Good Friday. We call it "good" because we know what Jesus was accomplishing on the cross. His death led to our freedom!
Bring your friends and family, and join us for a Good Friday service on March 29 at 6:30pm. This is family service, so kids will join us as we reflect on Jesus' sacrifice at the cross and look forward to celebrating His resurrection!
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How long is the service?
Worship Services are around 70 minutes. We usually start by singing and then hear from Dr. Dennis R. Wiles, our Senior Pastor (Check out past sermons to get a sense of their teaching styles.) At the end of the service, we create space to respond to what we've heard by worshiping through song, praying for one another, and listening to the word of God through the message.
What should I wear?
Most people dress casually, but you can wear whatever makes you comfortable.
Can my kids join me in the service?
At First Baptist Arlington, we value having children experience worship with their families. Children entering Pre-Kindergarten (4 years and up) attend worship at the start of their Pre-Kindergarten school year in August. For kids 3 years and younger (as of Sept 1), we have preschool classes available during both worship hours (8:30am & 11am). Visit our Preschool page for more information.
When should I arrive?
Our services begin at 8:30 am and 11:00 am. Please leave enough time to find your parking space, head inside, grab a beverage, and then find a seat in our sanctuary. If you have a preschooler or child, add some time to drop them off in our Kids area.
Are there any other services the week of Easter?
Join us while we start Holy Week with Palm Sunday on March 24th, with services at 8:30 am and 11:00 am. We will observe Good Friday with a remembrance service at 6:30 pm in an opportunity to reflect and remember.
What can I expect when I arrive?
If you’re new to First Baptist, park in our designated guest parking in our main Wade Building parking lot – our parking team will direct you to convenient parking just for you. Next, you’ll walk into the atrium, where friendly greeters will be waiting to answer any questions and direct you to the Preschool/Children's area if needed. Then, grab a beverage and go to the sanctuary for the service. We can’t wait to have you!
