Hello!
My name is Charlie Pannell and I serve as Minister of Worship to our Contemporary Service. We answered the call to come to FBCA in 2016 to come and help with the contemporary service. Since that time, we have had two additional children and a lot of fun! God has really blessed our family of five and we love the people of FBCA.
One great memory during our time at the church was the hospitality of our friend group. When our kids were toddlers the constant play groups and community of moms were essential in helping us feel like part of the family. I love how FBCA fosters and encourages this with their members.
What is your ministry philosophy?
I lead worship with a shepherd’s heart. God desires true worshippers that worship Jesus with all of their heart, soul, mind, and strength. My job is to encourage and equip people to do so. I believe that this needs to be fostered from pre-k to the grave. In our ministry we strive to develop great musical worship leaders. This takes intense training and preparation of our musical skills and our hearts. I have found that the heart often takes more “tuning” than any instrument we play. So, we foster an environment where are approach is discipleship driven. We pray, read and study scripture and prepare our music in our rehearsal’s each week. Our ministry uses our gifts to produce music and worship services for the church. Our staff’s aim is to equip the saints to do the work of the church. Our greatest delight is to see people reach their full potential and lead the church in worship well.
