Kurt began following Jesus in 1987 and started working in a church in 1996 – it hasn’t slowed down since!  Kurt met a pretty cool school teacher on a blind date in 1999 and she became his bride in 2004.  Kurt loves people and the Church – when you put the two together and do life in the midst of it…well, it is stinkin’ amazing!   more>>

Sarah Pardue

Sarah focuses most of her energy on building relationships with the girls here at FBCA. Prior to her coming to FBCA in January of 2007... she graduated from East Texas Baptist University in 2004, then moved to Birmingham, Alabama to work with Student Life, Inc. as a part of their drama team All Things to All People. Sarah loves people, music, and musicals.  more>>

Carlos Montoya

Carlos gives leadership to the Junior High Ministry at FBC.  He is working on his Master's Degree at the B.H. Carroll Institute, and is an Aggie.  Carlos is skilled at procuring free meals!  He went for nearly two weeks without purchasing his own food!   more>>

Carol Stephens

Carol is a long-term member of First Baptist, and after getting her two kids through the Youth Ministry, she joined the staff as Ministry Assistant.  Carol does lots of things that help the Youth Ministry click.  She loves to ski, and is married to Mike.   more>>
