Choir Teachers
We need people who love music and kids! We are needing choir teachers for preschool and children. These choir classes last anywhere from 20-35 minutes each Wednesday night apart of the WAM curriculum. These teachers will also be involved in the preparation for Sunday morning performances, Wednesday night performances, and end of semester programs.
Ministry Team Teachers
Do you have a special skill? Do you love kids? Then we need your help to teach our Wednesday night Ministry Team classes for kids ages 1st-6th grade. Ministry Teams are classes chosen by the children that offer a wide variety of performance and service driven skills. Some classes include: balloon sculpting, Splat! (painting class), photography, dance, drama, percussion, hip hop, blacklight puppets, sign language, sculpting, and many more! These 30 minute classes are taught weekly as a part of our WAM program for kids.
Choir and Ministry Team helpers
With SO many kids in WAM it is extremely important that all teachers be paired with helpers in their class rooms. We have many class offerings to choose from. We are needing help in all Ministry Team classes and Choir classes. If you love hanging out with kids and helping them grow in many different areas then this is for you!
Preschool Teachers
We need people who love teaching preschoolers to love music. We offer different classes to our preschoolers each week such as music games and activities, musical instruments and choir. If you are interested in helping teach or assisting in any of these classes we would LOVE to have you!

Camera Operators
Sundays Awaken and Heritage services – scheduled monthly
The eyes of the home audience. Nothing can be seen with out a camera operator focusing in on it. This is also the most visible position. It is easy to forget you are sitting in the middle of the sanctuary and become a distraction. Because of my (Daryl) video background, this is my favorite position. It is where we start most people for two reasons.
- It is the easiest to learn the basics but the hardest to master
- It takes 3 people per service so we need more people than any other position.
Graphics Operators
Sundays Awaken and Heritage services – scheduled monthly
Screen Graphics
Since we added the screens back in 1999, this position has become vital to the way our congregation worships. From Worship Song lyrics to devotional thoughts to sermon points, the screen graphics person is helping to lead the congregation through the worship experience.
Television Graphics
This position helps the television viewer know what is going on in the service. Since they do not have worship guide in front of them, they need to know who is sharing and what is happening.
Front of House and TV Sound
Sundays Awaken and Heritage services with Wednesday rehearsals – once every 4 – 6 wks
Front of House Sound
Sound engineer who mixes sound for the Sanctuary congregation. A microphone doesn’t come on or music is not heard without the direct contact of this person.
Record Sound
Like the Front of House Sound-everything that is heard by the Cable-TV broadcast, or online streaming is because of this volunteer.
Engineer
This primary technician is responsible for the routing the signals, starting the records and adjusting the camera levels.
Directors
Technical Director
The person who actually controls the switcher. He or she switches between cameras and add graphics. What this person routes is what the home audience sees.
Director
The ultimate visionary. The Director is following the script of the service and looking not only where we are but where we are going. He communicates with every position about how there part blends into the whole.
