Worship Ministries Purpose Statement:

The Worship Ministries exists to glorify God through the authentic biblical worship, both personally and corporately, of those He has entrusted to us. Our purpose is also to discover, cultivate and empower leaders who influence others along the Jesus Way.

We are excited about worship here at First Baptist Church! There are many, many opportunities for you to worship and get involved in our Worship Ministries. Worship OpportunitiesWorship through PrayerTV & PodcastsWorship CDs

Awaken Sunday Morning Service is at 9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary. This service has a more contemporary feel and utilizes our band and Awaken Singers.

Heritage Sunday Morning Service is at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. This service has a more traditional feel and utilizes our Sanctuary Choir and Orchestra.

The Journey meets Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m. in the Student Center and is primarily for college kids and 20 somethings.

The Gathering meets Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. in the Student Center and is primarily for youth.

Prayer Meeting meets Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall and is available to all ages.

WAM! Crave Wednesdays, 6:00 – 7:30 pm in the chapel. This is a time of prayer for our WAM! participants, their teachers and families. Our goal is to bathe the WAM! ministry in prayer during the time it meets each week. Come and go, and change prayer stations at your own pace.

Third Wednesday Prayer TIme The 3rd Wednesday of each month, we invite our Worship Ministries and any others interested in praying for our worship to the Sanctuary at 8:00 pm for an informal time of prayer.

Sundays – 12:00-2:00 pm
Wednesdays – 6:00-9:00 pm
