The Master’s Singers Choir Purpose Statement
The Master’s Singers, a choir for adults 55 years and older, exists to glorify God by singing together in authentic worship through their voices and lives, to develop a caring community of fellowship and to have meaning and joy in these extra decades of life. Our purpose is also to discover, cultivate and empower leaders, and leave a legacy for the generations following by positively influencing others in the church and community along the Jesus Way.

The Master’s Singers meet on Thursday mornings at 10:00-11:30 a.m. in the Adult Choir Room. It is directed by Beth Goetz, and our TMS President for 2011-2012 is Mrs. Pat Stewart. We’ve got a wonderful year planned, and we would love to have you come join us.

TMS Spring Plans

Thursday, May 17th, is the HYMN SING for First Family Fellowship! TMS will be leading the “Favorites” Hymn Sing for FFF in Fellowship Hall at 11:30 a.m.

NEXT THURSDAY – MAY 24 – “FIESTA TIME!” It’s Party Time! We have 70 already signed up and we have room for at least 10 more people. Please contact Jim Cook at choir or call Beth Goetz to reserve your spot at our party. The party is 11:00-2:00 p.m. in the Light House – Student Building. Come dressed “festive”! Tickets are $10.00 per person. Spouses and friends are invited to come join us. There will be good food, fun, fellowship, games, prizes, a souvenir picture and lots of wonderful entertainment. We are still needing 5-6 people to volunteer to decorate a table. We will vote on best table and prizes will be given. The sign up sheet is located on TMS Choir cabinet in the adult choir room or contact Judy Prather or Linda Seager if you could decorate a table. They can give you all the details.

A slate of TMS Choir Officers was presented last week at choir and will be voted on this Thursday, May 17. We have a wonderful group of people to serve for this next year – June 1, 2012 – May 31, 2013. These new choir officers will begin with a planning meeting on Thursday, May 31.
