The Master’s Singers Choir Purpose Statement
The Master’s Singers, a choir for adults 55 years and older, exists to glorify God by singing together in authentic worship through their voices and lives, to develop a caring community of fellowship and to have meaning and joy in these extra decades of life. Our purpose is also to discover, cultivate and empower leaders, and leave a legacy for the generations following by positively influencing others in the church and community along the Jesus Way.

The Master’s Singers meet on Thursday mornings at 10:00-11:30 a.m. in the Adult Choir Room. It is directed by Beth Goetz, and our TMS President for 2012-2013 is Mrs. Pat Stewart. We’ve got a wonderful year planned, and we would love to have you come join us.

TMS – Calendar Events in May

Welcome to our newest TMS member – Carol Mountain. She will be a great addition to our alto section!

TMS PARTY – THE OLD COUNTRY CHURCH – MAY 30 – Tickets are now on sale for our TMS “end of choir year” party. Tickets are $10.00 per person – please pay Jim Cook and receive your ticket or you can call Beth Goetz at #817 465-6072 or by email – to reserve your ticket. The party is at 11:00-2:00 p.m. in The Student Building. Don’t forget to dress up in your finest “country duds”. We will have a wonderful lunch, games, pictures, prizes, mystery drama, lots of singin’ and a pie baking contest (homemade pies will be our dessert!) Please invite spouses, former TMS members, prospects for TMS and friends to come and join us for a fun day full of great memories!
TMS SLATE OF NEW CHOIR OFFICERS FOR 2013-2014 – a new slate of choir officers will be presented to TMS on Thursday, May 9 and then voted on May 16. Thank you for your willingness to serve as a choir officer. We have a great group of folks to lead us next year!
TMS will not meet on Thursday, May 23 – The entire choir will not meet on May 23 – BUT the TMS Ensemble and Drama Team will meet at 9:30-11:30 A.M. in the Student Building! We need this day to rehearse our drama and songs for the “Old Country Church” party the next week.
