Rhythm Section
“The trumpeters and singers joined in unison, as with one voice, to give praise and thanks to the LORD. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, they raised their voices in praise to the LORD and sang: ‘He is good; his love endures forever.’” 2 Chronicles 5:13
Instrumental Worship Ministry
Our Instrumental Worship Ministry exists to glorify God through the musical support of our corporate worship by utilizing the unique giftedness of those He has called to serve in this ministry. Our purpose is also to develop these gifts by offering a graded approach, allowing for many engagement points into this ministry. Finally, it is also imperative that we discover, cultivate, and empower leaders who influence others for the Kingdom of God.
–By Audition Only–
Whether you are an old 80’s hair-band rocker, an up and coming independent garage band member or just have gotten really good at the RockBand video game, we have a place for you in the worship ministry. We rotate guitarists, bassists and drummers into the weekly and monthly Sunday rotation. We rehearse either on Sunday nights or Wednesday nights, depending on the schedule on PlanningCenterOnline. Because of the great commitment to this ministry, we do require an audition to be a part of this team and church membership is required. We need someone who is comfortable both reading music and reading chord charts.
If you have a heart and passion to help lead God’s people in worship through the gifts and talents He has given you, we’d love for you to be a part of the Rhythm Section. If you are interested in auditioning, please contact Emily Klophaus by emily.klophaus@fbca.org or at (817) 276-6462.
Please attend the rehearsals for the Sunday mornings that you are scheduled for. You can find the dates and times for these rehearsals in PlanningCenterOnline.

II. As a staff we will provide:
- Prayerful leadership
- Support for all the ministries of our church
- Adequate preparation
- Appropriate care for you and your family
- A variety of opportunities for worship on Sundays and at special times throughout the year

- Structured rehearsals designed to facilitate musical, spiritual, and community growth
III. As a member you will be expected to:
- Prepare spiritually.
- Regularly attend Wednesday Worship run-throughs and Sunday Morning Services as needed (you will receive a calendar with this information). Be on time for sound checks.Support special occasions and events involving our Sanctuary Choir.

- Be responsible for the music and scripts given to you. When received, if you need additional resources (chord charts, etc.) please let Justin know, and she will work to get you every resource you need.
- Check the Spotlight each week for pertinent information. If you miss a rehearsal, download one at www.fbca.org.
- Care for others in the Worship Ministries.
- Have fun! Be joyful!
IV. If you are a prospective member
