Play is the natural language a child uses to communicate and his or her world. Play Therapy provides the child with a variety of toys that can represent a wide range of words and emotions. Through this unique play experience and the positive relationship with a trained play therapist, the child is often able to communicate their difficulties and learn to apply more effective solutions.
Mediation is a transformational process where individuals work through issues for which they’ve reached an impasse. Whether it’s a family dispute or a conflict between an employee and their employer, mediation seeks to level the communication field and help each side voice their viewpoints and work towards a mutually acceptable solution. A trained facilitator helps establish ground rules for discussion and helps the participants draft the final agreement.
