Committee on Committees

Staff Coordinator: 
Associate Pastor of Educational Ministries

Principal Function: 
Nominate members of standing committees and councils for election by the church

Specific Duties Include: 

  1. Recommending church members to fill empty positions on each standing committee and council to be voted upon by the church.
  2. Seeking recommendations from the respective Staff Coordinator of each committee for persons to serve on that committee.
  3. Recommending new Chairpersons and Vice Chairpersons for each committee and council.
  4. Recommending a list of six nominees for the Deacon Nominating Committee, from which three members will be elected by the church.
  5. Reviewing and revising committee descriptions as needed.

Membership: 
Consists of nine or more church members representing various ministry areas and voted on by the church

Additional Information: 
Meets weekly from January through March, usually on Wednesday night.

Chairperson and Vice Chairperson serve on Advisory Council
