Dr. Mike Stedham

For over thirty-five years Dr. Stedham has helped people as a minister, Christian counselor, seminar leader, and clinical supervisor. Dr. Stedham works with individuals, couples, and their families in need areas such as depression, anxiety, marital issues, separation, divorce and other relationship issues. He has been a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, the American Association of Professional Hypnotherapists, and the Association for Applied and Therapeutic Humor.

Dr. Deana Adams
LPC-S, Ph.D

Adult & Adolescent Therapy
Deana Adams has over eighteen years of counseling experience. She enjoys working with survivors and family members who are affected by traumatic brain injury. She also works with teenagers and adults addressing such issues as depression, trauma, and anxiety. Serving as a volunteer police chaplain, Dr Adams specializes in critical incident stress debriefing with emergency services personnel. Professional memberships include International Conference of Police Chaplains, American Psychological Association, and Brain Injury Association of Texas.

Dr. Ewing Cooley
Ed.D., Psychologist
Child, Adolescent & Adult Assessments and Therapy
Since moving to Arlington in 1956, Dr. Cooley has gained experience working in the church, the juvenile justice system, higher education, and private practice as a psychologist for the past 37 years. Since 1985, he has specialized in diagnosing individuals to distinguish between the effects of learning, attention, and temperament differences on emotions and behavior. Dr. Cooley works with parents of children who do not respond to traditional methods of discipline. Graduate education in psychology, education, social work, and religious education has given him a broad perspective on individual differences. He is a member of the American Psychological Association and active in the Dallas Fort Worth Regional Association of School Psychologists.

Marjorie H. Noble
LPC, LMFT, RPTS, M.A.
Child, Family, Adult Therapy
Marjorie Noble has twenty-seven years experience working with children, families, and adults. She is a Registered Play Therapist/Supervisor, specializing in play therapy with children. Her expertise also includes helping parents, grandparents and caregivers gain the parenting skills needed to help them deal with their individual situations. Mrs. Noble works with issues facing children and their families including divorce, grief, behavioral management, self-esteem, abuse, mood disorders, ADD, social skills, and stress management. Professional memberships include The Association for Play Therapy and the American Association for Christian Counselors.
Beth Stearns
LPC, RPTS
Child, Family and Adult Therapy
Beth Stearns is a Licensed Professional Counselor working with children and their families. She has worked over 20 years in a variety of settings including residential, developmental preschools and outpatient therapies. Beth specializes in Play Therapy working primarily with child issues related to ADHD, Autism Spectrum, anxiety and enjoys seeing families heal and children grow stronger. Working at the Center for Counseling and Enrichment has allowed Beth the advantage of helping families see their potential and source of strength through a spiritual perspective. Beth is a member of the Association for Play Therapy and a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor.

Mary Stedham

Mary Stedham has worked as a counselor for thirty-five years with couples, individuals, families and students. She facilitates enrichment groups that encourage creativity as a path to healing, wholeness and abundant living. A frequent leader of women’s retreats, Mrs. Stedham is also a writer, seminar leader, and public speaker. She is a certified educator and has worked extensively with education professionals. Her expertise includes issues such as depression,anxiety, marriage, divorce, career, and ADD. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the Texas Counseling Association.

Amy Myers McDurham
LPC, MAMFC, MARE
College Students,Young Adults & Adult Therapy
Certified in Mediation
Amy McDurham works with individuals on a variety of issues including relationships, self-esteem, family interaction, grief/loss, trauma and premarital skills. A trained mediation facilitator, Amy is skilled at helping people reach mutually acceptable resolutions to conflict. She has won an award in the field of mediation. After working at Texas Christian University for over ten years, she has had extensive interaction with college students. She is also trained in conducting alcohol and drug assessments. She is a certified Prepare/Enrich counselor for premarital counseling.

Bill Nichols
LPC, LMFT, NCC
Child,Family & Adult Therapy
Bill Nichols has been working with teens and families since 1972. He began providing counseling services in 1983. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Nationally Certified Counselor, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. His practice is primarily focused on families with children and teens, and single adults. As a result, he has worked with people with mood, anxiety, and attention-deficit disorders, on the autism spectrum, and those having a wide range of academic and behavior problems.

Carla Higginbotham

Carla Higginbotham is a graduate from Dallas Baptist University and is active in church ministry with many years experience serving in various areas. She is an experienced leader in Free at Last, a 12 step Christ centered Celebrate Recovery program for those struggling with relationship problems, painful emotions, and addictions. She works with individuals, couples, families and groups struggling with marital conflict, parenting difficulties, trauma, sexual addiction, emotional issues, premarital issues, blended families, codependence, anger management, womens’s issues, and grief/loss. Carla is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the American Counseling Association. She is also a certified Prepare/Enrich counselor for premarital counseling.
Dr. Dan McGee
LMFT-S, FAACS, Ph.D.
Individual, Couple and Family Therapy
With over thirty six years of clinical experience Dr. McGee treats individuals suffering from stress related issues, including depression and anxiety. A former psychology professor and director of a graduate program in family psychology, he is a licensed marriage and family therapist and is board certified in behavioral medicine, medical psychotherapy and clinical sexology. He has extensive experience working with ministers and their families. He is an author and creator of the ABC’s of Stress®, described in his recent book, Choosing Balance. He is recognized as a Fellow or Diplomate by national or international academies in each of his specialties. His original research includes cognitive-behavioral intervention and leadership effectiveness.
