Your Faith Story…

“Who will hear today from your lips about the Savior?” (Chuck Swindoll) This quote has stirred much thought this week about how we’re sharing our faith in the places we’re planted across the community. I was reminded by an article I read that all you need is two minutes to share your faith story! And that most people will give you that much time to talk with them. But if you don’t know your story in a succinct way, it’ll be hard to take advantage of that time. So, let’s commit to think about it and be prepared to share it when the opportunities present themselves. These questions will help you write down and express what God has done in your life.
- What was your life like before Christ (about 100 words)?
- How did you receive Christ (about 300 words)? Mention one Bible verse.
- How did you hear?
- What did you hear?
- How did you respond?
- What is your life like after receiving Christ (about 100 words)?
Now pray for divine appointments and then be looking for those opportunities God will give you to share your story. Remember… salvation is not up to you. You’re only commanded to share The Big Story!
