meet equip serve
we meet to be equipped and empowered to serve.
First Tenent: We meet together as a college ministry during various times of the week to worship together, may that be through music, conversation, teaching of the Word, teaching of Christian principles, or whatever that might worship God and edify one’s Christian walk in an effort to glorify God.
Second Tenent: We meet in order to equip and encourage one another on the Christian journey. We affirm that one is saved and granted eternal life so that they might demonstrate the workmanship of God, being image bearers of God. This tenent is done formally through small group studies, retreats, Sunday school classes, or one on one discipling relationships. It is accomplished informally through conversations and other various means.
2 Timothy 3:14-17
Third Tenent: We meet in order to equip and encourage one another to serve others, regardless of the color of their skin to the lifestyle one chooses to live. In tangible and intangible ways, we seek to serve. We believe that we should demonstrate and pour out the love of God that has been so generously and graciously poured upon us, through the shed blood of Christ Jesus.
1 Peter 4:10
With these three tenents in mind, we realize that when imperfect people meet together a mess will be made. We understand that we all carry our own mess, baggage, garbage, and sin. We understand we are imperfect people, but we are loved by a perfect God. Thus, we gather together, messes in tow, to serve and demonstrate the same love that has been and continues to be poured so graciously upon us. We hope you will join us, where your mess is welcomed.
