* Greeters

Sunday: 11:00 AM

  • Are of utmost importance
  • Roam the room and look for individuals that are visiting, are alone, or look lost in the proverbial shuffle
  • Confront the individual and strike up engaging conversation, but ultimately to introduce this person to a student leader from the same school
  • Need to have adequate conversation skills, be an extrovert, and have a welcoming persona

Barista/Bartender

Sunday: 11:00 AM

  • In charge of monitoring the levels of coffee, drinks, ice and donuts and refilling those when necessary
  • Have some of the qualities elaborated upon in the greeter section, but it is not necessary
  • Solely in charge of drink replenishment.

* Teacher

Sunday: 11:00 AM

  • Need to have the qualities of a greeter, as well as be able to teach and be empathetic towards students needs
  •  Need to have a firm biblical grasp upon the doctrines of the faith, being able to articulate as well as direct students to the specific scripture passages
  • Need to be able to teach, be able to lead a discussion, and create an atmosphere that would be conducive to confession and/or candor

Praying Person

  • This person would pray.
  • Be aware of the intricate details of the college ministry and be in specific prayer for these elements. May that be for the Journey or the Joshua project pairings, this person would petition the Lord on their behalf.
  • This would not require a presence at the function.

Joshua Project Mentor

  • Mentor/disciple a college student for a season of time
  • Need to be a believer that has been walking with the Lord for an extended period of time, and would be able to sacrifice at least one hour a week to meet with their student
  • Need to have a desire to share wisdom gleaned over the years to students who are treading those paths you once journeyed.
