GRADES 1- 6
BASKETBALL

Registration Info

Registering your son or daughter in the Children’s Basketball League is simple - it's all online - no papers to have to keep up with or download! There are NO TRYOUTS, however your child MUST come to one (1) of the four (4) skills assessment sessions in our gym at FBCA. The skills assessment helps us to understand the ability level of each player and, therefore, divide the teams as evenly as possible, making for a more exciting season. Assessing your child’s skill level will only take 15-20 minutes depending on how crowded we are at the time. There is NO LATE REGISTRATION.

Skills assessments will be:

  1. Wednesday, November 29 from 5:00-7:30pm
  2. Saturday, December 2 from 9:00am – 12NOON
  3. Sunday, December 3 from 1:00-3:00pm
  4. Wednesday, December 6 from 5:00-7:30pm.

The fee for Children’s Basketball is $75 per student. Invite your friends from school, neighborhood and around town to join you in having a great basketball experience. Practices will start the week of January 8 and all games are on Saturdays beginning January 20.  In the Campsite registration process, the enrollment passcode for Children’s Basketball is chbb2024

Concessions

We will have concession foods and drinks as well as coffee options available for purchase in the Good Day Café.

Teams

Teams will be determined by registration numbers, grade levels and gender. The younger teams will play using 8 ½ foot goals, and the older teams will play using 10 foot goals. During the season the children will memorize scripture and will be led in a devotion by their coach at each practice. Our coaches are committed to helping your child improve in their skill level and come to a greater understanding of Christ and the Bible.

Practices & Games

1st-6th graders will have practice once a week beginning the week of January 8. All games are on Saturdays beginning on January 20 and ending February 17. Practices and games take place in the FLX Gym.
