1998
Tell us how you came to know
Christ:
I was 7 years old and at VBS and I really
don’t remember what really happened but I do know that from that day forward, I
was going to be a different person with Jesus in my heart!
What’s your favorite thing about your job?
I enjoy the church members and my co-workers
What’s your favorite Bible verse currently?
Proverbs 3:5 & 6
What do you feel like God is teaching you lately?
I need to give Him EVERYTHING and not just certain parts
of my life but He wants to help me in every aspect no matter even if I think I
can handle it and I don’t need to “bother” Him.
What are your hobbies?
I enjoy watching college
football (especially the TCU Frogs – GO FROGS!) and taking trips with my
husband Randy, playing with our grandson, and shopping at the Container store,
Target and office supply stores.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up and why?
I wanted to be a teacher so I could be “boss”.
Tell us a bit about your
family?
I have been married to Randy for nearly 12
years, I have two grown step-daughters and a grandson that is seven years old.
What’s your favorite meal and who would be attending?
I don’t really have a favorite meal but I can make a
meal out of chips and salsa and/or queso and I would be with family and good
friends that make me laugh.
Tell us a little known fact about yourself:
I was kissed by Clint Hurdle while getting his autograph
when he was a rookie playing for the Kansas City Royals. For those of you who
don’t know who that is, I believe he is now the new hitting coach for the Texas
Rangers.
Why should someone get involved at First Baptist Church
Arlington:
Why not? There’s a ton of great people
at FBCA and God is present everywhere here. Besides, there is a lot of
stuff to get involved in. You can be as involved as you want to be. |
