GriefShare will meet on Sundays at 4:00pm as a support group for those who have suffered the loss of loved ones or friends. Despite the loss and grief you are experiencing, God has a plan for you to continue in your journey with Him. The group is facilitated by folks who have personally
experienced significant loss in their life and have found joy and fulfillment on the other side of their pain. GriefShare is open to anyone in the Metroplex regardless of church affiliation. Childcare is provided with advanced notice. Email Wanda Henderson to reserve your spot.
The next session of GriefShare begins January 12th in Room 202 at 4:00 PM.
Join at any point as the course repeats periodically.

The holidays are always tough when our loved ones are no longer with us. I want to invite you to participate in our annual memorial service on Tuesday, December 3, 2013. It will be at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of First Baptist Church Arlington for those who have been a part of the GriefShare program and anyone who has experienced loss in their lives.
During this memorial service we will be decorating Christmas trees that will commemorate your loved one. We are asking that you bring an ornament in memory of him or her to place on a tree during the service. The trees will remain decorated and moved to our welcome center so others may enjoy them throughout the Christmas season. You may pick up your ornament after January 1, 2014.
Our pastor, Dr. Dennis Wiles, will share a wonderful message that will challenge and encourage you.
We hope that this special service help you to cope with the holiday season and find hope in the Christ-child that was born that day. We look forward to seeing you!
