Committees and Councils

FBCA has 14 standing committees (listed in the box to the right) charged with certain administrative responsibilities. These committees have a set number of rotating members who are nominated and voted on each year to serve a particular term. Serving on an FBCA committee requires church membership, active involvement for at least two years, and significant, sacrificial giving to the church budget.

During the month of December, the Committee on Committees receives recommendations for committee service in the coming year. In January, they start the process of identifying candidates to fill the open positions. The full slate of nominees is presented to the church for approval in March. The committees begin a new year of service on April 1st.  Fill out the Committees and Councils Preference Survey.
