What year did you start working at First Baptist?
2009
Tell us how you came to know
Christ:
I
grew up in a Christian family. My Granddaddy was a pastor when I was a
small child. Along with my parents, my grandparents would teach me about
God, Jesus, and the stories of the Bible. Leading up to Easter my 1st
grade Sunday school class was talking about how God loved me so much that he
sent his only son. That afternoon my family gathered together for our
regular family Sunday supper, and I told them that I love Jesus and was
thankful for him coming here so that I can be with God. After supper my
parents and grandparents began to ask me questions, and that afternoon I
asked Jesus into my heart.
What’s your favorite thing about your job?
Working with the Children, and
watching them praise God in their own ways.
What’s your favorite Bible verse currently?
Philippians 4:13 “I can do
everything through him who gives me strength.”
What do you feel like God is teaching you lately?
That
I should turn over all my concerns and worries to him.
What are your hobbies?
Playing Sports and Guitar
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up and why?
A Fireman, I thought it would be
cool to dress up in those awesome uniforms and save people like a super hero.
Tell us a bit about your
family?
I
come from a very spiritual family. My Father is a pastor of a Church in
the big town of Gun Barrel City, my mother is a teacher, and my brother is a
student in college. We have family Backgammon tournaments, and eat a lot
of Armenian food.
What’s your favorite meal and who would be attending?
My favorite meal would have to
be rice pilaf and macaroni and cheese. I know its not a conventional, but
its so GOOD!!
Tell us a little known fact about yourself:
I love sports of any kind.
Why should someone get involved at First Baptist Church
Arlington?
The people at First Baptist
Arlington, staff and members, are some of the best in the metroplex in my
opinion. They have a caring heart and do well to support each
other. This is a great place for people of all ages to be and fellowship
with others.
